Description:

Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4V is a four-channel analog voltage output module for the SLC 500 family. Each channel provides a bipolar -10 to +10 VDC output, enabling direct control of analog actuators, valves, or speed controllers in industrial automation. The NO4V’s outputs are not individually isolated from one another, and the module must be powered from the SLC 500 backplane with both a 5 V DC logic supply and a 24 V DC power rail, or from an external 24 V DC power source as configured. Integrated into standard 1746 backplane architecture in an AB SLC 500 chassis, the NO4V maps PLC output words to four voltage channels for precise setpoint signaling. This module is suitable for applications such as valve position control, speed adjustment for motors, or other control tasks that require a -10 to +10 V range, making it compatible with a broad range of analog devices designed for -10 to +10 V input signals.
