The Allen-Bradley 1746-NT4 is a SLC 500 four-channel thermocouple/millivolt analog input module designed to plug into the 1746 backplane for temperature and low-level signal monitoring. Each of the four channels accepts thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, and N, with an internal CJC sensor providing cold-junction compensation. The module provides ±50 mV and ±100 mV input ranges, with selectable input filters at 10 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or 250 Hz, and reports temperature in either °C or °F. Power requirements on the backplane are 60 mA at 5V and 40 mA at 24V, and the unit includes four inputs plus a dedicated CJC sensor.
