Allen-Bradley 1746-OB32 DC Source Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1746-OB32 is a 32-channel DC source output module for the SLC 500 family that provides 24V DC sourcing outputs to drive loads such as coils, relays, and indicator devices. It accepts an operating range of 5 to 50 V DC and is designed for use with the 1746 I/O backplane in a Rockwell Automation SLC system, delivering discrete 24V outputs from the PLC to connected devices. The module’s two Vdc pins and the two DC- (return) connections are isolated between two output groups; if current for a common group is expected to exceed 2 A, both Vdc pins must be connected to the DC power source. With 32 outputs, it enables high-density control of automation tasks while remaining compatible with standard SLC 500 wiring practices and accessories.
