Allen-Bradley 1746-OB8 Eight-Point Output Module is a current-sourcing DC output module for the SLC 500 system, delivering eight 10–50 VDC outputs that source current to DC loads. Each output channel is rated for 1.0 A continuous at 30°C (0.50 A at 60°C) with a per-point surge capability of 3.0 A for up to 10 ms, and the module provides a total continuous load of 8.0 A at 30°C (4.0 A at 60°C). Backplane current is drawn from the 5 V rail, typically around 0.135 A.
