Allen-Bradley 1746-OV32 Programmable Logic Controller Module

The Allen-Bradley 1746-OV32 is a 32-channel DC output module for the SLC 500 family that delivers transistor-sinking outputs controlled by a PLC. It accepts control signals in the 5–50 V DC range and provides 32 sinking DC outputs, suitable for driving DC loads such as solenoids, relays, and indicator circuits in high-density I/O applications. The module offers digital DC outputs with 500 V DC isolation between field circuits and the backplane and is designed to mount in a 1746 I/O backplane within a SLC 500 rack. Fabricated in Malaysia, the 1746-OV32 carries a 1-year standard warranty and, as of November 24, 2022, Rockwell Automation discontinued the product with engineering replacement guidance. Before integrating into an existing SLC 500 system, confirm compatibility with your 1746 chassis and backplane and ensure the control wiring and supply meet the 5–50 V DC requirements for all 32 channels.
