Allen-Bradley 1746-OW16 16-Point Relay Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1746-OW16 is a 16-point relay output module for SLC 500 PLCs, configured as two 8-output groups of normally open relay contacts in a digital output module for legacy automation systems. It supports output voltages from 5–125 V DC and 5–265 V AC, with 1500 V AC backplane isolation and an approximate 10 ms ON/OFF response time. Mounted in an SLC 500 rack chassis, it is used to switch field devices such as relays, contactors, solenoids, and indicator lights across industrial lines, conveyors, packaging machines, and process control applications that require isolation and multi-voltage switching. As a discontinued module, support and repair are available, with common replacements including 1746-OW8, 1762-OW16, and 1769-OW16.
