Allen-Bradley 1746-OW16 SLC 500 16-Channel NO Relay Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1746-OW16 is a 16-channel, normally-open relay output module for the SLC 500 family, delivering two banks of eight NO relay outputs with eight channels sharing a common terminal for organized wiring of discrete loads. Each output can switch up to 265 VAC or 125 VDC per channel, with a per-output current rating of 1.5 A at 120 VAC or 1.2 A at 24 VDC, and the module draws about 170–180 mA from the backplane to power the relays. This 1746 I/O module mounts in the SLC 500 backplane and is typically used to drive solenoids, contactors, or other discrete actuators in legacy systems; note that Rockwell discontinued the 1746-OW16 on November 24, 2022.
