Allen-Bradley 1746-OW8 8-Point DC Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1746-OW8 is an eight-point relay output module for the SLC 500 family, delivering eight isolated normally open relay contacts that can switch loads over a broad voltage range: 5 to 265 VAC or 5 to 125 VDC per channel. It is a plug‑in module that mounts in a 1746 backplane within an SLC rack, drawing roughly 170–180 mA from the backplane depending on supply conditions. Each output is isolated from the backplane to protect the controller and other I/O from high‑power loads, making the OW8 suitable for switching motors, solenoids, indicators, contactors, and other actuators controlled by the PLC.
