The Allen-Bradley 1746-A10 is a ten-slot modular chassis for the SLC 500 family, designed to house the processor in the first slot and accommodate up to nine I/O modules in the remaining slots. This backplane-based cabinet serves as the core enclosure for SLC 500 systems, with the first slot reserved for the processor or the 1747-ASB module, and accepts a wide range of 1746 I/O modules for digital, analog, and special-function tasks. It supports an operating environment of 0 to 60 C, storage from -40 to 85 C, and up to 95% relative humidity, enabling reliable operation in typical factory settings.
