The Allen-Bradley 1746-P2 is a rack-mount SLC 500 power supply for 1746 modular chassis. It accepts 120/240 VAC input at 47–63 Hz and consumes about 70 W, delivering backplane power of 5 V DC up to 5 A and 24 V DC up to 0.96 A, with a separate 24 V DC user output up to 0.2 A. The unit mounts on the far left of a 1746 chassis and measures 5.5 x 2.9 x 5.7 inches (140 x 74 x 145 mm); it weighs about 2.5 lb (1.1 kg). One unit is required per chassis to power the backplane and mounted I/O modules.
