Allen-Bradley 1747-KE DH-485 RS-232C Communications Interface

The Allen-Bradley 1747-KE DH-485/RS-232C Interface Module is a bridge for SLC 500 systems that connects DH-485 field networks to DF1 devices. It provides a DH-485 network interface and a DF1 RS-232C port that can be configured for RS-232/423, RS-422, or RS-485 devices, enabling DF1 communications over a DH-485 network. The module is powered from the SLC backplane, requiring both 5 V DC and 24 V DC supplies, with backplane currents around 150 mA at 5 V and 40 mA at 24 V. It includes 500 V DC isolation between the backplane and the serial side and features a built-in Real Time Clock rated for about ±1 minute per month at 25 °C (with drift of +0/−6 minutes per month at 60 °C).
