Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 SLC 500 Memory Module
Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 SLC 500 Memory Module
Description:
Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 is a SLC 500 memory module designed for the SLC 5/03 processor, providing 16,000 words of user memory to store ladder logic, data tables, and related program data. The memory is organized as 12,000 words allocated to program and data space and 4,000 words reserved for data-only storage, enabling larger or more complex control programs without swapping CPUs. The module uses Flash EEPROM for backup memory, allowing retention of code and data across power cycles. It is intended for use with fixed and modular SLC 500 controllers and is compatible with 1747-L531, 1747-L532, and 1747-L533 processors (Series C OS302 or higher; OS401 or higher; OS501 or higher). This memory expansion is part of Rockwell Automation’s SLC 500 family, and its specifications are suitable for industrial environments operating approximately 0 to 60 °C. In practical terms, the 1747-L532 enables you to expand ladder logic capacity and data storage in legacy automation systems that rely on the SLC 500 platform, providing a non-volatile memory option for program and data retention within the controller ecosystem.
