Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 SLC 500 Processor Unit is a SLC 5/03 modular CPU for the SLC 500 family, delivering 16K words of user memory and a robust discrete I/O addressing capability (up to 4,096 inputs and 4,096 outputs) with up to 480 points of analog I/O on applicable configurations. It provides RS-232 serial communication and DH-485 connectivity for programming and communication with other PLCs and devices, and it draws up to 500 mA from the 5 V backplane. FRN 11 firmware (Series C) identifies this unit’s revision level in typical listings. Operating in environments from 0 to 60 C, the L532 fits in a standard SLC 500 rack as a single-module CPU for automation tasks such as sequencing, simple process control, and discrete control, with compatibility to RSLogix 500 programming workflows.
