Allen-Bradley 1747-L541 SLC 500 Processor Unit
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1747-L541 SLC 500 Processor Unit is a Series C SLC 5/04 CPU for the SLC 500 modular PLC family. It provides 16K words (16,000) of user memory and supports up to 4,096 inputs and 4,096 outputs, enabling sizable I/O configurations within a single chassis. It delivers a program scan time of 0.9 milliseconds per keyword and an I/O scan time of 0.225 milliseconds, with DH+ and RS-232 serial communications for connecting to other controllers and devices. The processor uses Flash backup memory for non-volatile storage and is designed to work with 1747-series I/O modules and the SLC 500 backplane. It supports up to three I/O chassis and up to 30 module slots, making it suitable for compact machines or small-to-medium automation lines. Some variants carry hazardous-location certifications (Class I, Division 2) per applicable Rockwell documentation.
