Allen-Bradley 1747-M12 SLC 500 EEPROM Memory Module

The Allen-Bradley 1747-M12 is a 64K EEPROM/Flash memory module for the SLC 500 family, designed to back up and transport a PLC program and data between controllers. This non-volatile memory stores a copy of the processor's program and data tables, preserving configuration in events like power loss or memory transfers, and it can be written to by the processor to load a program image onto the module. It is supported as a memory back-up option for SLC 5/03 processors running OS302 or higher, and for SLC 5/04 processors running OS401 or higher. This arrangement allows keeping a portable copy of a PLC program that can be reloaded into compatible SLC 500 controllers or used to transfer programs across systems.
