Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1747-M4 is a UVPROM-based memory module for the SLC 500 family, designed to store the user program and related data in non-volatile memory for SLC 500 processors. It provides 32K bytes of memory, equivalent to 4K instructions, and belongs to the M-series of memory modules (M1 through M4) used to back up or load the program into RAM. The M4 plugs into the processor’s memory module socket within an SLC 500 chassis and is compatible with SLC 500 processors that support 1747 memory modules. Typical applications include non-volatile storage of the user program and data, facilitating program transfer and backup in legacy automation systems.
