Allen-Bradley 1747-PIC Interface Converter is an RS-232 to DH-485 interface bridge that enables a PC to talk to SLC 500 DH-485 networks by translating serial PC signals to the DH-485 protocol. It provides a PC-side RS-232 connection and a DH-485 network interface that can connect to SLC 5/01, 5/02, or 5/03 processors and to compatible PanelView terminals, supporting PC-based programming, monitoring, and data exchange on the factory floor.
