Allen-Bradley 1747-SDN DeviceNet Scanner Module for the SLC 500 system connects an SLC 5/02 or higher processor to a DeviceNet network, enabling communication with DeviceNet devices. It supports up to 63 DeviceNet I/O devices and handles exchange of configuration data, I/O data, and status information between the processor and the DeviceNet network. The module mounts in an SLC 500 I/O chassis in any slot except the left-most processor slot and features front-panel indicators (Module and Network status LEDs), a node-address setting, and a 10-pin DeviceNet connector; firmware FRN 2.01 USNT is specified for this model.
