Allen-Bradley 1747-SN Remote IO Scanner Module

The Allen-Bradley 1747-SN Remote I/O Scanner Module is the central interface in an SLC 500 system that communicates with remotely located I/O devices via the AB Remote I/O link, coordinating data flow between the processor and field devices. It is designed for use with SLC 500 processors that support Remote I/O and works with compatible 1746 remote adapters and other RIO devices to transfer discrete input and output data across the network. A 1/2-watt terminating resistor is included with the module and must be attached across line 1 and line 2 of the RIO link at each end to properly terminate the network. The module uses a G-file for configuration and I/O mapping, and is intended for use with SLC 5/02 and later processors as part of the 1747 Remote I/O family.
