Allen-Bradley 1756-0B32 32-Point Output Module

The Allen‑Bradley 1756-OB32 is a ControlLogix 32‑point DC digital output module that provides two isolated 16‑point output groups of 10–31.2 VDC sourcing outputs for ControlLogix backplanes. Each point can source up to 0.5 A at 50°C and 0.35 A at 60°C, with a total module capacity of 16 A at 50°C (10 A at 60°C); off‑state leakage is 0.5 mA per point and the on‑state voltage drop is up to 200 mV at 0.5 A. Turn‑on delay is typically 60 µs with turn‑off delay up to 1 ms, and the module supports surge currents of 1 A for 10 ms per point (repeatable every 2 s) at 60°C. Power dissipation can reach 4.8 W at 60°C, and backplane current is about 300 mA at 5 V (2 mA at 24 V). The 1756‑OB32 requires a 36‑pin terminal block (for example, 1756‑TBCH or 1756‑TBS6H) and offers 50 V continuous isolation between groups and the backplane, making it suitable for two isolated 16‑point output banks in ControlLogix systems.
