Allen-Bradley 1756-0W16 Relay Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1756-OW16I ControlLogix 16-Point Isolated Relay Output Module is a plug-in I/O card that delivers sixteen Form A (normally open) relay outputs on a 36-pin field interface for ControlLogix systems. Each channel is independently isolated from the others (up to 250 V continuous isolation between outputs) and can switch AC or DC loads, with per-point current ratings up to 2 A (variants exist at 0.5 A and 0.25 A). The module accepts an internal supply range of 10–265 V AC or 5–150 V DC, and its maximum power dissipation is about 4.5 W at 60 °C. Operating temperature is 0–60 °C (32–140 °F) with 5–95% relative humidity noncondensing, and the unit is designed for industrial environments with 2 g vibration and 30 g shock (operating). Firmware available for the OW16I family includes revisions such as v3.003. By providing sixteen individually isolated NO outputs, it enables mixing voltages on a single module and is suitable for coil driving, interposing relays, and general load switching in machines, conveyors, valves, and other automation equipment within Rockwell Automation’s 1756 ecosystem.
