Allen-Bradley 1756-A10 is a 10-slot ControlLogix chassis that serves as the backplane backbone for a ControlLogix I/O rack. The chassis accepts any 1756-series module in any slot, with 1756-N2 filler modules required for unused slots, enabling flexible I/O layouts without needing to rearrange modules. It uses a high-speed ControlBus backplane to support communication and power distribution among installed modules, and it is designed for horizontal back-panel mounting in industrial enclosures. The 1756-A10 is designed to be used with a separate ControlLogix power supply to power the backplane and all installed modules; processors and I/O modules are added separately to form a complete ControlLogix rack.
