Allen-Bradley 1756-CFM ControlLogix IO Module

Allen-Bradley 1756-CFM is a ControlLogix Configurable Flowmeter Module that provides high-speed metering for two channels in a single-slot I/O block within a ControlLogix chassis. It mounts in a ControlLogix rack and uses a removable terminal block (1756-TBNH) for field wiring. The module offers four inputs (2 per channel): two Flowmeter (F) inputs usable in all modes and two Gate inputs used in Totalizer mode for prover/store count, along with two current-sourcing outputs. Electrical characteristics include 300 mA at 5.1 V and 6 mA at 24 V, backplane power around 1.7 W total, and a maximum dissipation of 6 W at 60 °C, with 250 V continuous isolation (reinforced I/O-to-backplane and 250 V I/O group-to-group) and routine tested isolation up to 1900 V DC for 2 s. The module supports both Totalizer mode for metering and high-speed frequency measurement, making it suitable for precise flow metering and prover applications in industrial processes.
