Allen-Bradley 1756-CN2 is a high-performance, single-channel ControlNet interface module for Rockwell Automation’s ControlLogix systems. It provides a dedicated ControlNet communications bridge that links a ControlLogix controller to the ControlNet network with up to 100 device connections, operating at the standard 5 Mbps data rate. Designed to fit into a 1756 ControlLogix chassis backplane, the CN2 enables deterministic messaging and I/O operations between the controller and ControlNet devices such as remote I/O racks and scanners, helping to integrate legacy ControlNet peripherals within modern control architectures.
