Allen-Bradley 1756-CN2RXT is a ControlNet Redundant Bridge Module for ControlLogix systems, providing two ControlNet ports on a single chassis device to create a redundant path between ControlNet networks in a backplane installation. The XT variant is designed for extended operating temperature, with a working range of -25 to 70 °C, and is an open-style enclosure (no enclosure). The unit is chassis-mounted in any 1756 slot, and weighs about 0.293 kg (0.64 lb). It draws power from standard 1756 supplies (1756-PAXT or 1756-PBXT); it does not include redundant power. A USB 1.1 port is provided for temporary local programming and diagnostics. For ControlNet connections, the CN2RXT offers two ControlNet ports compatible with quad-shield RG6 coax cable (1786-RG6) and associated BNC connectors.
