Allen-Bradley 1756-CNB ControlNet Communications Bridge Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-CNB ControlNet Bridge Module is a ControlNet communication interface for Rockwell Automation's ControlLogix platform that bridges a ControlNet network to the 1756 backplane. It supports 40–48 control network connections, providing a dense bridge for data and control messages between remote ControlNet I/O racks and a ControlLogix controller, including handling of unscheduled data for efficient I/O communication. The module offers continuous electrical isolation of 30 V between the ControlNet network and the backplane to help protect the controller and field devices, and it supports bridging between ControlNet A and ControlNet B segments as part of a multi-node ControlNet topology. This module is designed to integrate ControlNet I/O into a ControlLogix system where deterministic network access is required, and it fits in standard ControlLogix chassis as part of the ControlNet bridge family.
