Allen-Bradley 1756-DNB DeviceNet Bridge Scanner

The Allen-Bradley 1756-DNB DeviceNet Bridge/Scanner is a single-slot ControlLogix module that functions as a DeviceNet master, bridging a DeviceNet network to Logix5000 controllers. It provides one DeviceNet port on a 5-pin screw-terminal block (CAN_H, CAN_L, Drain/Shield, +24 V, 0 V) and supports 125 Kbps, 250 Kbps, and 500 Kbps baud rates, enabling up to 63 slave devices on the network. The module draws power from the backplane (5.1 V DC, 400 mA typical) and requires about 60 mA from a 11–25 V DC DeviceNet supply, with operating temperature from 0 to 60 C and an IP20 enclosure rating when mounted in an enclosed panel. It is compatible with all Logix5000 controllers (e.g., 1756-L55, L6x, L7x, L8x) and configuration is performed through RSNetWorx for DeviceNet or Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 Add-On Profiles.
