Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2T EtherNet/IP Network Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2T EtherNet/IP Network Module is a two-port copper Ethernet/IP communication module for ControlLogix systems, designed to mount in a 1756 backplane slot and provide Ethernet/IP connectivity between the controller and external networks. It supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet on two RJ45 ports and can handle up to 128 TCP/IP connections, enabling multiple EtherNet/IP devices to communicate with the PLC concurrently. The EN2T is powered from the ControlLogix backplane at 5.1 V DC and draws up to 1 A, functioning as a ControlLogix Ethernet/IP bridge to exchange data with EtherNet/IP devices across the network. This module is part of Rockwell Automation’s ControlLogix Ethernet/IP communications family and is commonly used to connect the PLC to Ethernet/IP-enabled equipment such as HMIs, SCADA systems, and other networked devices through a dedicated Ethernet interface.
