Allen-Bradley 1756-EN3TR Ethernet Communications Bridge

The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN3TR EtherNet/IP Bridge Module for ControlLogix is a two-port Ethernet/IP communications bridge designed to connect two independent CIP networks within a single ControlLogix system. Each EN3TR provides two RJ-45 Ethernet ports that operate at 10/100 Mbps to enable bridging between network segments while maintaining EtherNet/IP communications with controllers, I/O, and motion devices. Per module support includes up to 256 EtherNet/IP connections and up to 128 TCP connections, enabling substantial concurrent CIP communications. The EN3TR supports Linear and Device Level Ring (DLR) topology, enabling redundant network paths when used in appropriate network configurations.
