Allen-Bradley 1756-EN3TR Ethernet Interface Module

Allen-Bradley 1756-EN3TR is a ControlLogix EtherNet/IP communication module with two 10/100 Mbps copper ports that provides EtherNet/IP connectivity for a ControlLogix backplane and external Ethernet networks. It supports up to 128 TCP connections and up to 128 CIP Motion axes, enabling integration of motion controllers, servo drives, and other CIP-enabled devices on the same network. As part of Rockwell Automation's ControlLogix ecosystem, the EN3TR plugs into a ControlLogix chassis and communicates with the central controller and remote I/O over EtherNet/IP, making it suitable for high-speed, deterministic data exchange in automation networks. The dual-port design supports flexible network topologies, including daisy-chaining or segmentation within or across racks, helping to scale automation architectures that require reliable, time-critical data transfer between controllers and networked devices.
