Allen-Bradley 1756-ENBT EtherNet/IP Communication Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-ENBT EtherNet/IP communication module provides Ethernet network connectivity for ControlLogix systems, bridging the ControlLogix backplane with an EtherNet/IP network to talk to HMIs, remote I/O, drives, and other PLCs. It offers a single RJ-45 Ethernet port supporting 10/100 Mbps and supports up to 64 TCP connections and up to 128 CIP connections for scalable industrial communications. Power requirements are 700 mA at 5.1 V DC and 3 mA at 24 V DC, with media type being twisted pair Ethernet (shielded or unshielded). Operating temperature range is 0 to 60°C and it is compatible with ControlLogix chassis and Logix controllers; in industrial automation environments, common replacements include Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2T, 1756-EN2TR, and 1756-EN3TR.
