Allen-Bradley 1756-IA16 16-Channel Analog Input Module

The ab 1756-IA16 is a ControlLogix 16-channel discrete AC input module designed for 120 V AC field signals in Rockwell Automation 1756 backplane systems. Each of the 16 inputs accepts 74–132 V AC at 47–63 Hz, draws about 13 mA per point at 132 V AC, presents roughly 10.15 kΩ input impedance, and the module provides 125 V continuous isolation between inputs and backplane (and between input groups), with total backplane power around 0.58 W and a maximum dissipation of 5.8 W at 60 °C. Screw-to-backplane delays are OFF-to-ON up to 10 ms (with user-selectable 1–2 ms filter times) and ON-to-OFF up to 8 ms (with 9–18 ms filter times); update timing ranges from 200 µs to 750 ms depending on configuration, and the module is wired with 1756-TBNH removable terminal blocks.
