Allen-Bradley 1756-IA16 Digital Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-IA16 is a 16-point digital input module for ControlLogix systems that accepts 120V AC field signals. Operating from 74–132V AC at 50/60 Hz, it uses a 20-pin removable terminal block and provides 16 discrete inputs organized in eight two-point groups. Per-input electrical specs include an on-state current of 5–13 mA (depending on voltage), off-state current up to 2.5 mA, off-state voltage up to 20V, and an inrush current up to 250 mA, with hardware delays up to 10 ms (Off→On) and 8 ms (On→Off) plus selectable input filtering of 1–2 ms or 9–18 ms; total backplane power is 0.58 W and maximum dissipation is 5.8 W at 60 °C.
