Allen-Bradley 1756-IB16 ControlLogix 16-Point DC Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1756-IB16 ControlLogix 16-Point DC Digital Input Module provides 16 digital DC inputs for ControlLogix backplanes, designed to read field devices such as pushbuttons and limit switches in 24 V DC systems. The module accepts 10 to 31 V DC input signals and uses sinking inputs (16 x 12/24 V DC, sinking) to switch current to the common return, making it suitable for direct connection to 24 V field devices. Removable terminal blocks are available for this module to simplify wiring and maintenance. As part of the 1756 ControlLogix I/O family, it installs in a 1756 I/O chassis and communicates over the ControlLogix I/O backplane to a compatible processor, enabling scalable digital input coverage in automation systems.
