Allen-Bradley 1756-IB16I is a 16-point isolated digital DC input module for ControlLogix I/O racks. Each of its 16 channels is independently isolated and accepts 10–30 V DC with a 12/24 V DC input category, supporting both sink and source wiring for 24 V sensors, switches, and safety devices. It uses a 36-pin removable terminal block for field wiring, with compatible terminal blocks including 1756-TBCH and 1756-TBS6H. As a Series A DC input module in the 1756 family, it integrates into a ControlLogix chassis to provide 16 discrete inputs in a compact form factor, making it suitable for expanding digital input capability in automated systems.
