The Allen-Bradley 1756-IB16S is a ControlLogix 16-channel DC safety input module that provides sinking safety inputs for safety applications. Operating on 10–30 V DC, it uses a 36-pin removable terminal block to wire 16 safety input points into the ControlLogix safety I/O bus. This module includes a configurable safety test output for Safety Pulse Test and can source 24 V DC to support circuit testing. It is designed for ControlLogix systems, with safety-rated performance up to Category 3 and PLd per ISO 13849-1.
