The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6I is a ControlLogix six-channel isolated analog input module designed to read voltage and current signals with 16‑bit resolution and robust isolation. Each of the six inputs can be configured for voltage ranges of ±10.5 V, 0–10.5 V, or 0–5.25 V, or for current sensing from 0–21 mA with over‑range indication, while maintaining 250 V continuous isolation between input channels and the backplane. The module draws backplane power from 5 V and 24 V supplies (typical 250 mA at 5 V and 100 mA at 24 V) and dissipates up to 3.7 W in voltage mode or 4.3 W in current mode. Performance features include open‑circuit detection within 5 seconds, a 15 Hz input bandwidth with a settling time under 80 ms to 5% of full scale, and a common/normal‑mode noise rejection of 120 dB (60 Hz) and 100 dB (50 Hz) respectively (60 dB normal mode at 60 Hz). Input impedance exceeds 10 MΩ for voltage inputs and about 249 Ω for current inputs, with calibrated accuracy better than 0.1% of range at 25 °C and a calibration interval of six months. Protection includes 120 V AC/DC overvoltage on voltage inputs and 8 V AC/DC on current inputs (with onboard current resistor). The 1756‑IF6I uses 20‑pin terminal blocks and is compatible with standard ControlLogix 1756 terminal blocks (e.g., 1756‑TB family).
