The Allen-Bradley 1756-L7SP GuardLogix Safety Partner Controller is the safety partner processor that completes a GuardLogix safety system by handling safety‑rated logic alongside a primary GuardLogix controller. It pairs with GuardLogix primary CPUs (for example, 1756-L71S, L72S, L73S) to enable CIP Safety communication and SIL 3 / PLe‑rated safety functionality across the control network.
