Allen-Bradley 1756-L84ES Safety Controller

1756-L84ES GuardLogix 5580 Safety Controller is a CIP Safety-enabled controller from Allen-Bradley designed to implement integrated safety logic within GuardLogix 5580 systems, pairing safety with standard control in a single module. It provides 20 MB of standard memory plus 6 MB dedicated safety memory to support safety routines, alarms, and safety I/O configurations. A USB 2.0 Full Speed port supports programming, configuration, firmware updates, and online edits, while a 1 Gb embedded Ethernet port provides high-speed EtherNet/IP communications with support for up to 250 EtherNet/IP devices. The unit features a 4-character alphanumeric front display for local status or diagnostic readouts. For software architecture, the L84ES family is designed to run safety applications with up to 32 tasks and as many as 1000 programs per task, making it scalable for complex safety programs.
