The Allen-Bradley 1756-OA8 is an 8-point AC digital output module for ControlLogix racks that switches 74–265 VAC loads. Each output is rated for up to 2 A (pilot duty) and the module groups outputs in two 4-point banks with a 20-pin field interface. It operates on 74–265 VAC, 47–63 Hz, draws about 1.07 W from the backplane, and provides output transition times of about 9.3 ms (Off to On) and 11 ms (On to Off) at 60 Hz (11 ms at 50 Hz). This module is intended to drive AC field devices such as relays and contactors within Rockwell Automation ControlLogix systems.
