Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16I ControlLogix DC Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16I ControlLogix 16-point DC output module is a 24V DC isolated digital output card for ControlLogix backplanes, providing 16 independently isolated outputs that can be wired sink or source (12/24V DC). It operates on a 10–30V DC supply, with per-point current capability up to 2 A at 30 °C (derating to 1 A at 60 °C), and an off-state leakage of up to 0.5 mA per point. The module supports a 1 ms turn-on delay and 2 ms turn-off delay, with a per-point surge capability of 4 A for 10 ms (repeatable every 2 s) and a 2 A pilot duty (DC-13SQ). The total backplane power is approximately 1.8 W and max power dissipation is 3.6 W at 60 °C; current draw is about 2.5 mA at 24 V and 350 mA at 5.1 V. Removable terminal blocks are available for field wiring. This 16-point DC output module is designed for discrete load control within ControlLogix I/O racks and supports 12/24 V DC sourcing or sinking configurations.
