Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16I ControlLogix 16-Point DC Isolated Output Module provides 16 independently isolated DC outputs for ControlLogix chassis, designed to switch 10–30 V DC loads with a 12/24 V DC-compatible operation range. Each channel is rated for up to 2 A (DC-13SQ pilot duty), enabling direct control of solenoids, relays, contactors, lighting, and other DC actuated devices while maintaining isolation from the controller and other I/O. The module uses a 36-pin field wiring interface and supports quick On/Off response with 1 ms Off-to-On and 2 ms On-to-Off delays. It draws about 350 mA at 5.1 V for its internal logic and 2.5 mA at 24 V for field-side electronics, with total backplane power of 1.8 W and a maximum dissipated power of 3.6 W at 60 °C. Firmware version 3.003 is specified for this module, aligning with Rockwell Automation compatibility notes.
