Allen-Bradley 1756-OB8 DC Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB8 is an eight-channel DC digital output module for Rockwell Automation's ControlLogix backplane. It accepts a DC operating range of 10–30 V and provides up to 2 A of load current per point, with a total module current rating of 8 A at temperatures up to 60 °C; the outputs are electronically fused and individually isolated for improved fault containment. This module energizes DC devices such as relays, contactors, solenoids, and indicator lamps under the control of a ControlLogix controller, enabling deterministic on/off switching within PLC ladder logic and timed sequences.
