Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1756-OF6CI/A is a ControlLogix isolated analog output module that provides six independent current-output channels for precise process control. Each channel delivers a calibrated 0–21 mA current with 13‑bit resolution across the full range, and the module offers 250 V continuous isolation between the output circuitry, backplane, and field connections. Series A hardware (1756-OF6CI/A) uses a monotonic R‑ladder DAC for current output, with no open-circuit detection, short-circuit protection limited to 21 mA, and 24 V DC overvoltage protection, along with a module scan time of up to 25 ms (10 ms for integer data paths).
