Allen-Bradley 1756-OX8I Isolated Relay Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-OX8I is an eight-channel isolated relay output module for the ControlLogix platform, delivering independent relay contacts that can switch both AC and DC loads. Each output can be configured for normally open or normally closed operation and carries per-channel ratings of 2 A at 5–30 V DC, 0.5 A at 48 V DC, 0.25 A at 125 V DC, or 2 A at 125/240 V AC. The module uses a 36-pin backplane interface and provides 250 V continuous isolation between outputs, backplane, and between outputs themselves, with a contact life of up to 300,000 cycles resistive and 100,000 cycles inductive. Switching delays are up to 13 ms for both OFF-to-ON and ON-to-OFF, while off-state leakage is 0 mA and maximum power dissipation is 3.1 W at 60 °C.
