Allen-Bradley 1762-OW8 8-Point Relay Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1762-OW8 is an 8-point relay output expansion module for MicroLogix 1200/1400 controllers, providing eight normally open relay outputs to extend discrete control in industrial panels. It is used in control panels for packaging machines, conveyors, motor starters, bottling and labeling lines, HVAC equipment, and general manufacturing machinery to switch contactors, solenoids, indicator lights, and other field devices at 5–265V AC or 5–125V DC. Each output handles up to 2.5 A continuous, with a backplane current draw of 180 mA at 5V DC, and the channels are relay isolated. Mounting options include DIN Rail or Panel Mount, and the module is compatible with 1762 MicroLogix 1200 and 1400 base units. Common replacements for retrofit or expansion include 1762-OW16, 1762-OB8, and 1762-OA8.
