Allen-Bradley 1771-IFE Analog Input Module
Allen-Bradley 1771-IFE Analog Input Module
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1771-IFE Analog Input Module is a 16-channel analog input card for PLC-5 I/O chassis that converts analog signals to digital data for processing in industrial control systems. It supports 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs and accepts voltage and current signals (for example ±10 V, 0–10 V, and 4–20 mA) with 12-bit resolution and jumper-selectable input type, with multiple selectable ranges per channel. Designed for process control and automation environments, it occupies a single slot in the 1771 I/O chassis and uses block transfer data (BTW/BTR) for communications, offering up to 1500 V transient isolation and about 3.75 W of power dissipation. The 1771-IFE is discontinued as of May 31, 2017; common replacements include 1771-IFEK, 1756-IF8 (ControlLogix), and 1769-IF4 (CompactLogix).
