Description:

Allen-Bradley 1790D-T0B16 is a 16-point DeviceNet CompactBlock LDX I/O base block with 24VDC digital outputs, designed to be used as the in-cabinet base for expanding I/O with up to three expansion blocks. The module provides 16 nonisolated, current-sourcing outputs across two 8-point commons, with each output rated up to 0.5 A and a common bus capable of 4.0 A total. On-state voltage is 24 V nominal (10–28.8 V range) with a drop of up to 0.5 V and a minimum on-state current of 1 mA per channel; off-state leakage is up to 0.5 mA, and signal timing is 0.5 ms off-to-on and 1.0 ms on-to-off. I/O isolation is 1250 V ac rms between I/O and logic via a photocoupler, and field wiring uses M3.0 screw terminals with a maximum torque of 7 in-lb. The base module itself is powered from 24 Vdc (11–28.8 V range), dissipating up to 1.2 W, while field power presents about 6 mA per point at 28.8 V. As a DeviceNet base with built-in communication, it is suited for distributed DC load control of solenoids, relays, and small actuators in light industrial settings, with expansion blocks enabling scalable I/O up to the stated limit.
