Allen-Bradley 1794-AENTR Flex I/O EtherNet/IP Module

The Allen-Bradley 1794-AENTR Flex I/O EtherNet/IP Module is a FLEX I/O Ethernet communication adapter that links distributed FLEX I/O modules to EtherNet/IP networks for PLC-to-field device connectivity. It provides dual Ethernet ports for network redundancy and ring-topology configurations, supporting 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and up to eight FLEX I/O modules per adapter. The unit is DIN-rail mounted with a 24V DC nominal supply (19.2–31.2 VDC) and offers 50V continuous isolation, a maximum FlexBus output current of 640 mA, and status LEDs for module, network, and link conditions. Operating from 0°C to 55°C, it enables high-speed distributed I/O communication in industrial environments and is commonly used in manufacturing lines, packaging, material handling, water and wastewater facilities, process automation, and building automation to expand control systems and modernize Ethernet-based I/O architectures.
