Allen-Bradley 1794-IR8 8-Point RTD Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1794-IR8 FLEX I/O 8-Point RTD Input Module provides eight RTD input channels for precise temperature sensing in distributed industrial control systems. Designed to mount on a FLEX I/O Terminal Base Unit, it transmits RTD data to a PLC within FLEX I/O automation platforms, enabling reliable temperature monitoring across process control, manufacturing equipment, chemical processing, and temperature monitoring applications. The module supports Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, and Ni120 RTD types with 16-bit input resolution and channel-to-backplane isolation, delivering 40 mA backplane current at 5 VDC. Operating from 0 to 55 °C (32 to 131 °F), the 1794-IR8 is commonly used for accurate temperature feedback in industrial heating or cooling processes and in water treatment, food and beverage production, and other automation environments.
